As Metis continues to grow, we are seeking a Marketing Associate to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to be the firm’s first dedicated marketing hire; someone who will not only execute campaigns, but shape the firm’s marketing philosophy, establish scalable processes, and position marketing as a strategic growth driver.

Responsibilities of a Marketing Associate

At its core, the Marketing Associate role is about turning marketing into a true growth engine by designing programs, systems, and content that amplify Metis Strategy’s expertise and translate brand authority into measurable business impact.

Content & Campaigns

  • Launch and manage multi‑channel campaigns across LinkedIn, email, and web.
  • Collaborate with consulting teams and subject matter experts to transform insights into compelling, client-facing narratives (case studies, blogs, frameworks, success stories).
  • Repurpose consulting insights, case studies, and thought leadership into scalable assets (articles, infographics, carousels, short‑form video, and social tiles).
  • Draft, edit, and QA copy for emails, landing pages, social, and speaker/event promotions; ensure brand voice and editorial quality.

Marketing Ops & Data

  • Own day-to-day CRM and marketing automation hygiene (expansion, enrichment, segmentation, dedupe), and maintain opt-in/compliance
  • Use the CRM to build targeted outreach lists for events and email campaigns; analyze engagement data to surface insights. 
  • Track and report on campaign KPIs, run A/B testing, and drive continuous optimization.
  • Design Stewardship
  • Design high‑impact visual assets and templates, translating complex consulting concepts into engaging, easy‑to‑understand visuals for external promotion.
  • Ensure consistent branding across campaigns, events, and client-facing collateral.
  • Partner with freelancers for higher-end design/video needs.

Business Development Alignment

  • Partner with Growth and Client teams to align marketing campaigns with account pursuits and pipeline priorities.
  • Build and execute account‑based marketing programs and nurture journeys to accelerate the pipeline.
  • Support business development initiatives by preparing executive research packets, event attendee briefings, and prospecting materials.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and research (market, competitive, or client-specific) to support business development conversations and strategic growth initiatives.

Events & Executive Programs

  • Promote Metis Strategy summits, dinners, and trainings (pre-event outreach, landing pages, speaker assets) and execute post-event nurture to convert interest to meetings.
  • Support client-facing events with marketing collateral, speaker promotion, and post-event insights distribution.
  • Coordinate closely with Growth and Client teams to ensure event insights are captured, documented, and distributed to enable follow-up business development activity.

Market Research & Insights

  • Conduct market and competitive research to inform positioning, campaign strategy, and executive engagement opportunities.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities to differentiate Metis Strategy’s brand.
  • Feed insights back to partners and consultants to sharpen go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications and Expectations

  • 3–5 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in consulting, professional services, or growth‑stage firms servicing executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to run multi‑channel and account-based campaigns that deliver measurable results.
  • Ability to map and understand the technology-executive customer journey and priorities.
  • High EQ and audience empathy; you “speak executive,” simplify complexity, and tailor messages for busy senior technology leaders.
  • Outcome-oriented with a thoughtful balance of the art and science of marketing.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, PowerPoint) with a strong portfolio of visual assets for LinkedIn and B2B campaigns.
  • Experience creating visual templates, infographics, and data visualizations that communicate complex business or technology ideas.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, CRM tools, and analytics dashboards.
  • Proven project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience with event marketing and executive audience development.
  • Entrepreneurial, hands‑on mentality and a bias for action.

The standard base pay range for this role is $90,000 – $125,000 annually. This position is also eligible for bonus compensation. Additional benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, parental leave, family benefits, retirement contributions, paid time off, and more. Compensation and benefits are competitive and will be commensurate with each individual candidate’s qualifications and relevant work experience. Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is preferred.
